Stillia have been busy lately, of the back of supporting Ocean Colour Scene in Australia, New Zealand & Dubai they have just finished their own UK Tour. I was lucky enough to interview them before their gig at Camden Assembly, London. I can’t thank them enough for making this easy for me. This was my first face-to-face interview, I was very nervous and my battle with delayed trains etc didn’t help. Despite that, and many interruptions during the interview myself and the band handled it well.
I last saw Stillia back in May and I was impressed but it seems they continue to get better and better. Tonight confirmed what I already knew. They have confidence without arrogance and know how to entertain. Jacks (Singer) interaction with the crowd is as good as always, enough to connect but not over the top. They played their latest single 4am, along with Let me in and sometimes.
I cannot wait for their Album to drop if it reflects what I heard we are in for a treat.
I stand by my previous statement, this band are going places and I really do advise everyone to see them in smaller venues while you have the chance. It won’t be long before those days are over.
Once again a massive thank you, Jack, Matty, Connor & Johnny for taking the time to talk to me. I wish you all the success you deserve. You were a pleasure to chat to and I’ll see you on the next tour.
